Classes will meet once a week for an hour. Focused on North Indian Classical dance, general rhythm, lines in dance and core movements, this classes will have some folk and Bollywood mixed in on occasion as the students are ready.

Classes will meet once a week for an hour. Focused on North Indian Classical dance, classes will have some folk and Bollywood mixed in on occasion in the children’s classes. Adults classes will focus solely on Kathak, with possible semi-classical items added in.

Classes will meet once a week for 1½ hour each class with a ½ hour theory class scheduled online once a month. Along with previous materials, students will complete Level 1 Taals, Tihais, Todas, Stuti and various movements and gestures.

Level 1 Beginner

Classes will meet twice a week for 1½ hour each class with a ½ hour theory class scheduled online once a month. Along with previous materials, students will complete Level 2 Taals, Tihais, Todas, Thaat, Gat Nikas, Amad, Gestures & Poses, etc.
Pre-requirement: Kathak
Level 1 Advanced

Classes will meet twice a week for 2 hour each class with a ½ hour theory class scheduled online once a month. Along with previous materials, students will complete Level 3 Taals, Todas, Thaat, Tarana, Thaat, Gestures & Poses, etc.

Pure Bollywood Dance, including technique, movement, musical rhythm, phrases, and choreography. Inspired by the high-energy music from Indian films, Bollywood is a form that combines Indian folk and semi-classical dances forms.

This is a Bollywood class which mixes Classical Kathak and other various styles of movements (depending on the music.) The class will begin with focus on classical technique and move into the choreography inspired by the popular music of Bollywood films and Classical/Western Fusion music.
